On Returning to School...
I am now in my second quarter at ITT Technical Institute. Returning to school after all of these years has been an interesting and challenging experience.
After having made perfect scores in my first quarter, I am now taking an extra class in my second quarter. It is my hope that one day my kids will see this as a great example.
The first time I heard that saying was when watching Forest Gump in the theater. I had no children at that time, and my life was filled with video games, Scarborough Faire, tedium from a dead end job as a secretary at State Farm Insurance. I had just graduated high school 3 years earlier, and my erudition was far from complete.
Introspective journeys down memory lane come sporadically, but serve as a good catalyst for change and growth as long as one does not sojourn too long in the vast plains of ones past. Live in the present, plan for the future, learn from the past. So long, and thanks for all the fish.
